Adrian Wojnarowski (
/ˌwɜrdʒnəˈraʊski/ WURJ-nə-ROW-skee) is a sports columnist and author, who regularly writes NBA articles for Yahoo! Sports.[1][2] Wojnarowski has worked in print media,[2] and in 2006 published a New York Times best-seller: The Miracle of St. Anthony: A Season with Coach Bob Hurley and Basketball's Most Improbable Dynasty.[1][2] He is a 1987 graduate of Bristol Central H.S. in Bristol, Connecticut and a 1991 graduate of St. Bonaventure University.[1]
Wojnarowski has been criticized for his use of anonymous sources in articles concerning NBA player Lebron James.[3][4] Other writers have noted an apparent bias towards James in Wojnarowski's reporting.[5] For his loss of objectivity in covering Lebron James, Adrian Wojnarowski was listed #1 in Sports Media Watch's Worst of Sports Media 2010.[6]
In 2010 the New York Post reported that Wojnarowski was being sued by the Penguin Group for failing to meet a book deadline covering the life of coach Jim Valvano.[7]
