Papp was an exceptional student at Ferenc Foldes High School, the best-regarded schools in Hungary, and was also known for her cheerful disposition, outgoing approach to life, and love of poetry. At Ferenc Foldes she also developed a love for the theater and directed, produced and acted in plays that were performed nationwide. After graduating, Papp was accepted to prestigious Karl Marx University of Economics (today called Corvinus University of Budapest). Five years later she graduated with honors, with majors in Economics and Marketing. Her minor was International Traffic, Transportation and Logistics, studies that later served as the platform for on-time management and international logistics for companies including DHL and FedEx. Papp was also offered an honorary Ph.D. for her extensive work in transportation logistics, an altogether new field, and her innovative and unique research studies remain on file in the University library under her authorship serving current and upcoming generations.
