ae-, e-

There is a tendency to simplify spellings with ae- in British English to e- in American English, e.g. esthetic for aesthetic and anemic for anaemic, but both types are used.

Previous:advocate verb, adviser, advisor, advisedly
Next:aeon, aerie, aery, aesthete, aesthetic
