Review: Enjoyment
A good deal of fun, though later levels become difficult. ~ Shawn Sackenheim, All Game GuideReview: Overall
Aero the Acrobat is a well designed and challenging game, complemented by impressive, fresh graphics, and smooth animation. While most of the levels have a circus theme, the graphics manage to stay diverse featuring various sections of a standard circus. High wire walks, flying through flaming hoops, and taking a tough ride on a rocket car are entertaining, presenting their own challenges. The music and effects are perfectly suited, featuring numerous pieces of PCM music that sport a cartoon theme, along with invigorating and varied tunes that fit game situations. Sound effects are crisp and diverse.
Control is well suited with a handful of moves that you will use quite often; some executed only while in the air. Don't take the game's circus theme and cartoon graphics for granted. The learning curve keeps the challenges increasing; with the rocket ride level fiendishly tough, requiring a lot of practice, but well worth the time.
If you're a fan of action/platforming and are looking for another mascot based game (in all honesty, Aero is one cool mascot animal) that will have you playing for weeks, give Aero the Acrobat a try. ~ Shawn Sackenheim, All Game Guide
