The 64-Meg AeroFighters Assault is an air combat simulation designed by the same company responsible for Pilotwings 64. A terrorist organization named Phutta Morgana has melted the Antarctic ice cap, flooding cities around the globe in the process. If things weren't bad enough, the group is seizing the opportunity to attack. Now you and three fellow pilots must save the world from certain disaster. AeroFighters Assault consists of four game modes: Practice, Main Game, Death Match and Boss Attack.
Practice lets you fly around each stage to work on your flying skills, while the Main Game has you taking part in seven missions plus three bonus stages. Two players can fight against each other in the Death Match mode, and Boss Attack lets you challenge any of the bosses you have unlocked during the main game. AeroFighters Assault features six different aircraft, each with its own pilot, as you wage war through the air and over water. The assortment of enemies include six types of planes, helicopters, submarines and frigates. Defeat the game's deadly bosses to save the world.
