Plot

The Taliban, a militant Sunni fundamentalist faction in Afghanistan trained in Pakistan, has become a dominant force in the country. Their Jihad threatens to extend to the Sunni minority in Iran, triggering a rebellion there, or the possibility exists that Iran will make the first move, gaining access through the Shiites in Afghanistan. Afghanistan: Exploring the Taliban Revolution explores these opposing groups, taking a hard look at the unrest involving these two nations.
