Aflou (Arabic: أفلو) is a town and commune in Laghouat Province, Algeria. It is located around 34°6′32″N 2°6′7″E / 34.10889°N 2.10194°E. It is located in the Saharan Atlas, in the elevation of about 1400 m. It is the capital of Aflou District. Its population in 1998 was 48,000.[1]
