An African breed of cattle derived from British breeds (about 25%) and Brahmans (about 75%). A Sanga type with long lateral horns, used usually for red meat and draft. Africa's answer to the Santa Gertrudis. See also sanga, bonsmara, drakensberger, afrikaner.
