Biography
Following the success of Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, and Fedde Le Grand, Nick Van de Wall aka Afrojack is the latest DJ, producer, and remixer to break through from the burgeoning Dutch dance music scene. Born in Spijkenisse in 1988, he began playing the piano at age five, but after getting his hands on a copy of music sequencing program Fruity Loops, he started to play around with samples and create his own songs. After discovering the Rotterdam club scene, he began performing short DJ sets before traveling to Crete to hone his craft, playing at various clubs over a five-month period. Returning to his native Holland, he signed to the independent Digidance label and released his debut single, "Afrojack: In Your Face," before forming his own record company, Wall Recordings, scoring club hits with "Math" and "Do My Dance." Following performances at dance festivals Tomorrowland and Sensation, and a collaboration on David Guetta's One Love album, ("Toyfriend"), he was invited to remix the likes of Madonna's "Revolver" and Lady Gaga's "Alejandro." In 2010, he teamed up with electro-pop vocalist Eva Simons on his first U.K. Top 40 hit, "Take Over Control," and also released a rarities album, Lost and Found, featuring nine previously unreleased tracks, in the same year. ~ Jon O'Brien, RoviWikipedia on Answers.com:

Nick van de Wall, (born 9 September 1987), commonly known by his stage name Afrojack,[2] is a Dutch music producer and DJ. He was born and raised in Spijkenisse, Netherlands just like Vato Gonzalez and Sied van Riel.[3] He was listed as number 7 on DJ Mags top 100 DJs of 2011.[4] His 2010 entry into the poll at number 19 was the highest new entry of that year's list.[5]
Afrojack's song "Take Over Control," which features Dutch singer Eva Simons, charted in a number of countries. In July 2010, Afrojack created an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1.[6] In December 2010, Afrojack announced, via his website, that he would release an album called Lost & Found. The album was released December 22, 2010. In 2011 Afrojack opened the year by remixing Ian Carey and Snoop Dogg's single "Last Night" to great acclaim. Later on, Afrojack was featured on Pitbull's #1 hit single "Give Me Everything" along with Ne-yo and Nayer He also contributed to the single "Run the World (Girls)" by Beyoncé.[7] In January 2012 Afrojack received an European Border Breakers Award.[8]
Afrojack runs an imprint label named Wall Recordings, which has Dutchhouse DJs such as himself, R3hab, and Sidney Samson signed onto the label. He is the boyfriend of American heiress and socialite Paris Hilton.[9][10][11]

Personal life
He has a daughter with his ex-girlfriend of two years Amanda Balk, a former contestant of reality television series The Golden Cage. The two split up before the baby was born, and shortly after he began dating American heiress Paris Hilton.[12][13][14][15]
