AGF Afrique confronts the elements of risky business in sub-Saharan Africa. A subsidiary of Assurances Générales de France, the company provides life and non-life insurance services in more than a half-dozen sub-Saharan countries. Fire, auto, hull and cargo, life, and reinsurance are among its primary offerings. Life insurance historically makes up the bulk of AGF Afrique's annual revenue.
