Plot
In the film Aging Well, the extended life expectancy of many senior citizens is investigated. There are many factors for this increase in longevity, including major medical advances and a change in lifestyle. The average senior is living a healthier life than they would have in the previous generation, and more attention is being paid to adequate nutrition and sufficient exercise, both mental and physical. The program also addresses issues of isolation in aging, the problems associated with the death of a spouse, and feelings of loneliness and idleness. ~ Alice Day, Rovi| Aging Out (2003 Film), Aging In Japan: When Traditional Mechanisms Vanish (Film) | |
