Perhaps best known as the fourth-place finisher in Finland's version of the TV vocal competition Pop Idol, Polish-born songstress Agnes Pihlava is a powerful vocalist whose sexy and strong style harks back to such iconic hard rock artists as Heart, Pat Benatar, and the Scorpions. Agnieszka "Agnes" Pihlava (born Polish: Agnieszka Ćwiklińska; born on March 19, 1980 in Leszno, Poland and currently living in Hartola, Finland) is a singer who rose to popularity after placing fourth in Idols Finland 2, the Finnish version of Pop Idol.
Agnes includes Sonata Arctica, The Rasmus, Europe, and Whitesnake as her main musical influences.
