Biography

Argentine Agustín Magaldi (born Agustín Magaldi Coviello) was mostly influenced by the legendary Enrico Caruso to start singing, not without attending an operatic training before getting involved in show business. After moving from his native Santa Fe to Buenos Aires, the artist known as la Voz Sentimental de Buenos Aires began performing along with Rosita Quiroga. In 1925, Agustín Magaldi teamed up with Pedro Noda, forming one of the most successful duets in the local music history. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
