Ahau Kin
Character Bio
A renowned high priest, Ahau Kin is known only for his heartless acts and cruelty towards his people. Many times assassins have tried to kill him but with no luck. His magical aura shields him from many of these attacks. Once Ahau Kin heard of an even greater power, though -- a chuck of ore that lay at the bottom of his own well -- he became obsessed with obtaining it.After sending a few dozen slaves to the dark, icy bottom only to return as corpses, Ahau Kin dove in himself. The venture nearly killed him, but he returned successfully with the ore in his hand. With his now-overflowing magical skills almost matched by his brute physical strength, he has only one thing in mind -- destroy all competition and become the one true War God!
FATALITY:
Ahau Kin raises an altar behind his opponent, then shoves him down onto it. Jumping atop the altar, Ahau Kin plunges his fist inside his victim's chest, pulling out his heart, holding it high above his head, and then proceeding to take a huge bite out of it before moving on to the next battle.
THE STORY:
Even as our own solar system was being brutally beaten into shape at the hands of the big bang, there were already many other advanced civilizations embarking upon conquests across the stars. Of course, not every one of these civilizations could peer through the cloud of intergalactic haze that covered our Milky Way galaxy, hiding the treacherous environs inside. Fortunately, only one craft ever made the venture (though a million deaths within the galaxy would have been preferable when compared to what would soon happen).
As the ship entered our galaxy it was thrust into a huge asteroid field, fusing and melding the rock and plasma in the vacuum of space. The ship was almost immediately struck, sent careening toward the fiery sun. Spinning and rolling, the ship finally pulverized itself into the molten Earth -- but not before its cargo bay was ripped open. As a result, a dozen shards of green ore were sent out across the cooling planet.
Holding great medicinal powers for the alien race, the ore seemed to affect humans in an entirely different way, contorting their minds and bestowing them with great powers. Throughout the history of Earth, ten humans managed to find shards of the ore. Brought together in one giant end-all contest, only one will survive as the most powerful being alive.
