Ahead

The hand which has the highest percentile chance of winning the pot.

SoundPoker Says: Any time you are ahead you want to maximize the winnings you could possibly earn. It is important to stress that just because you are initially ahead, it does not mean you will win the pot.

Because only one hand can ever be ahead in any given pot, all other hands are known as being "behind" because they have a smaller percentile chance of winning the pot.

For example, "My pocket Jacks were ahead of John's 10 high the whole time!"
