Some men go chasing after fate, but one literally finds his fate chasing after him in this offbeat action comedy from Thailand. As a child, Ahimsa (Boriwat You-to) suffered from poor health and behaved in a manner his parents could not understand. When Ahimsa's folks took him to see the local shaman, he diagnosed the boy as suffering the effects to too much bad karma. What's more, the shaman saw the lad's karma was actually following him in the form of a man who could be seen only by Ahimsa and the shaman. The holy man persuaded the child's karma to leave him in peace, and years later Ahimsa is living the good life, working as a DJ at a dance club run by his best friend Einstein (Johnny Unwa) and hanging out with his buddy U-Kot (Prinya Ngamwongwarn). Einstein is an enthusiastic advocate of psychedelic drugs and suggests Ahimsa try LSD; Ahimsa takes his advice, and after one particularly strange trip he discovers his karma has returned (played by Teeradanai Suwanahom), dressed in a red jogging suit and driving a beautifully restored Chevy Impala. While Ahimsa tries to lose the strange figure that keeps following him, he meets Pattaya (Taranya Sattabusya), a beautiful doctor. Ahimsa falls in love with Pattaya, but his karma informs him that even though they are fated to be together, he'll have to pay some dues before they can be together. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
