The Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower is a supertall office and hotel skyscraper that is under construction along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction was stopped between November 2006[2] and May 2007[3] because the developer fired the main contractor (Al Fara'a Contracting), however it has now resumed construction with Naresco Contracting Co as the main contractor.[4] The tower will rise to 342 meters (1122 feet) and have 76 floors when it is completed.[5]
Because of the financial crisis the construction stopped again in November 2009 and continuation of the project is unclear.[citation needed]
