Boeing keeps Air Europa going. The airline flies passengers and cargo between 14 destinations mostly around Spain, but it also recently expanded to Europe, North Africa, and Latin America. Air Europa operates a fleet of 37 Boeing and three Airbus jets. Eight more Boeing 787 Dreamliners will be delivered beginning in 2009. Through the SkyTeam code-sharing and marketing alliance, Air Europa operates partnerships with about 10 other airlines, including Aeroméxico, Air France, Alitalia, and Continental Airlines. (Code-sharing allows airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights). Air Europa was founded in 1986 and became a division of the Globalia Corporation in 1991.
