Plot

Air pollution is a growing global problem, as more and more fuel is burned to meet the needs of the world's ever increasing population. This film, Air Pollution: Outdoor, scrutinizes the ways in which we burn our fuels, and the methods used to remove polluting agents before they escape into the environment. The program presents research that is being conducted to create cleaner fuels and techniques developing that will either recycle the by-products or dispose of them efficiently and safely. The program shows that air quality will improve only when we achieve better control over pollutants. ~ Alice Day, Rovi
