The AirPort Utility, formerly known as the AirPort Admin Utility, is a utility that allows users to configure an AirPort Wi-Fi Base Station to create a wireless network and manage a USB device (e.g., printer, external hard drive) attached to the AirPort device. It is pre-installed in Mac OS X and was later made available for download for Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Version 6.0 supports Mac OS X Lion
Version 5.5.3 supports Mac OS X Leopard and later, as well as Windows XP and later.
Version 5.4.2^[1] is the final version supported by Mac OS X Tiger.
Version 4.2^[2] is the final version supported by Mac OS X Panther as well as Windows 2000.^[3]
