Geography

About one third of the commune territory is covered by woods and forest. Aix-en-Othe is located in the western part of the Aube department, 30 km (19 mi) from Troyes and 40 km (25 mi) from Sens. It is in the Nosle valley, a tributary of the Vanne river.
