Ajantha is a village in Aurangabad district, Maharashtra. The Ajanta caves are located near this village. Ajanta is also a building in Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai. It is a part of the BARC colony. Four buildings-Ajanta A, B, C and D constitute Ajanta Square. (At times mispronounced as Ajanta Scare) Anand Ramaswamy lived here from 1989- 2006.

Ajantha is located at 20°32′00″N 75°45′00″E / 20.5333°N 75.7500°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 586 metres (1925 ft).
