The islands of Akimiski Charlton and Twin islands located on the east of Akimiski Island. This is near the center of James Bay.

One group of islands is the Belcher Island and Ottawa Islands

The bay that surrounds that island is James Bay, a smaller bay off of Hudson Bay.
By the way, the island is called "Akimiski Island".

Both bodies of water extend from the Arctic Ocean, of which James Bay is the southernmost part. It borders the provinces of Quebec and Ontario; islands within the bay (the largest of which is Akimiski Island) are part of Nunavut.
