2. China (Sinkiang Uighur Autonomous Region): it was the Kingdom of Baluka.
3. Kazakhstan: there are three towns called Aksu (Aqsū), all named after the River Aksu. The town north-east of Shymkent was formerly Belyye Vody 'White Water' in Russian.
4. Turkey: named after the Turkish River Aksu.
