Al-Malikiyah District
Al-Malikiyah District (Arabic: منطقة المالكية) is a Syrian district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to Al-Hasakah Governorate. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 189,634. Its capital city is the city of Al-Malikiyah. It is mainly dominated by Arameans (Syriacs). It is both the northernmost & easternmost district in Syria.
