Al-Shehhi

al-Shehhi (Arabic: الشحي‎, ash-Sheḥḥī, also transliterated as Alshehhi, Shehhi, or Shihhi) is an Arabic family name denoting a member of the Shihuh tribe of the United Arab Emirates and Oman. When followed by a sun letter, the l in al assimilates to the initial consonant of the following noun, resulting in a doubled consonant.
