Ala di Stura is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 km northwest of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 469 and an area of 46.1 km².[1]

The municipality of Ala di Stura contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pian del Tetto, Cresto, Martassina, Mondrone, Villar, and Pertusetto.

Ala di Stura borders the following municipalities: Groscavallo, Chialamberto, Ceres, Balme, Mezzenile, and Lemie.
