Alan F. Horn will be the future chairman of Walt Disney Studios, effective June 11th, 2012.[1] Horn also sits on the board of directors of Univision.
Prior to joining the Walt Disney Company., Horn was President and COO of Warner Bros, under his leadership Warner Bros have had many hits, including recent Batman movies and Harry Potter franchises.[2] Series under Directior, Horn served in various positions at 20th Century Fox and at Norman Lear's television production company, Tandem Productions. Horn was also one of the founders of Castle Rock Entertainment,[3] a company he currently oversees at Warner.
Horn is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York, class of 1964.[4]
Horn grew up on Long Island, New York and currently lives in the East Gate Bel Air section of Los Angeles, California.[5]
