- An east-west range of the Tian Shan in southern Osh Province, Kyrgizstan. To the south is the Alay Valley and then the Trans-Alay Range on the Tajik border.
- An ill-defined range in the Pamirs, possibly called 'Pamir-Alay'. See Geography of Tajikistan.
- Some sources seem to use the term for the whole southern curve of the Tian Shan corresponding to the southern border of Kyrgyzstan.
