The traditional Albanian epic poetry includes folk Albanian poetry and songs that are part of the Albanian culture. Examples of these songs are the following:[1]

In period 1905—1908 Nikolla Ivanaj was publishing a newspaper Shpnesa e Shqypnisë and was one of the first publishers of the Albanian heroic epic songs.[2]
