Alba Star S.A. (Styled as AlbaStar) is a charter airline based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The airline has bases at Palma de Mallorca Airport and Milan Malpensa Airport. It also operates cargo services from its cargo base at Catania Airport. It is owned by Italian shareholders and Femar.

History

Alba Star was launched in 2010, and started operations on 31 July 2010.

In January 2011, it launched its first cargo service after its delivery of a second aircraft. The airline operates the cargo services from Catania Airport and the airline operates cargo services throughout Europe and North Africa.[1] In June 2011 Alba Star took delivery of a 3rd Boeing 737-400 to continue expanding their passenger operations, a 4th aircraft is planned intime for summer 2012.

Alba Star consider excellent service to be key to their success, aiming to provide a punctual and safe operation while also being one of the few charter airlines left in Europe that still offer passengers a complimentary drink and snack onboard.
