Highway 16A is an East-West highway through central Alberta, comprising various bypasses and alternate routes for Highway 16 (the Yellowhead highway).

Sections
Evansburg
It doubles Highway 16 to the north for 14 km at Evansburg, where it intersects Highway 22 (west of Entwistle). It passes through the Pembina River Provincial Park.
Edmonton and area
4 km east from Manly Corner (at the intersection with Highway 43) (located 35 km west of Edmonton), Highway 16A runs parallel to Highway 16 to the south, through the communities of Stony Plain and Spruce Grove into Edmonton, where it takes the name Stony Plain Road to its eastern terminus at Anthony Henday Drive. The road continues into downtown Edmonton as Stony Plain Road. On this section, called the Parkland Highway, Highway 16A is a more leisurely alternative route to the corresponding section of Highway 16.
Vegreville
A 9 km stretch north of Highway 16, through the town of Vegreville.
