Albie Lopez
Albert Anthony Lopez (born on August 18, 1971 in Mesa, Arizona) is a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He graduated from Mesa Community College. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 20th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the second round (48th pick overall) of the expansion draft in 1997. He then signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2005. He was later released by the Pirates.
He has a 47-58 career record with a 4.94 ERA. He was an Eastern League All-Star, which is the Indians' Double A affiliate in 1993.
