Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
Oct 1–9. Balloon Fiesta Park, Albuquerque, NM. Held since 1972, the largest hot-air balloon gathering in the world features more than 600 hot-air and gas balloons, mass ascensions, balloon glows and specially shaped balloons. The nine-day event includes entries from more than 20 countries. Annually, the first through second weekends in October.
