Biography

Going under the moniker of the Alchemist, Dustin Morris started experimenting with ambient noises and samples at the end of 1997. Combining additional elements of techno and drum'n'bass, the Vancouver native spent the next two years spinning and making mix tapes that were locally distributed. By 2000, the digital magazine DMR hooked the Alchemist up with a contribution for their two-CD compilation Interstellar Harmony, Vol. 2. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
