The ten photo shoots were divided into two parts, first was Company Magazine test shots while the second was Max Factor Beauty Shots. Alex failed to bring a stellar photograph just like the past few weeks, and her Company Magazine test shot was criticized for losing her neck. Although she was praised for her Max Factor Beauty Shot, Alex ended up in the bottom two with the eventual runner-up Catherine. In a surprise twist, both of them survived and moving to South Africa.
The eleventh photo shoot was all about African Tribe Couture, and the girls posing with an African warrior. This week Alex once again comes out of her shell, producing a stellar photograph but criticized for working her mouth disgustingly. However, she was called first and nailed to the top three.
The final photo shoot had the girls posing with some South African creatures, and Alex had to pose with an iguana. Although at first she was too slow, eventually she turned out a stellar photograph. The judges were impressed with how she brought herself to the photo shoot and they no longer saw her as the shortest girl. For the third time she was called first and so advanced to the finale.
After everything was completed, the judges were discussing Alex and Catherine. Both of them did very well in the runway show, and their portfolios were also improving. After a very tough deliberation, Alex was crowned as Britain's Next Top Model.
As part of her prize, she received a contract and representation with Models 1 New Faces division, a fashion spread, and cover for Company Magazine and a contract with Max Factor cosmetics. She appeared on the cover of the September 2008 edition of Company Magazine.
She appeared in the October 2008 edition of Maxim Magazine as the cover girl.[1]
In 2009 she appeared on the cover of Your Hair Magazine. Evans has also featured in Max Factor print work, and a Radio advert for a Make Up competition. She recently landed her own TV advert for the Nintendo Wii game "Another Code R".
In May 2010 she featured in a TV advert for Superdrugs Barry M makeup line.
She walked in the live final of Britain's Next Top Model series 6.
In October 2010 she was a part of the Yeo Valley advertising campaign which saw a two minute rap played on TV and thus she had a part in the rap.
She is currently working at Nevs Modelling Agency London.
In April 2011 she appeared in the music video of 'Down Down Down' by Charlie Simpson, a former member of Busted.
She currently lives in London. Previously, she attended Prior's Field School and Godalming College where she studied Theatre Studies, English Literature and Psychology A-level.[citation needed]
