History
The airline is being funded by venture capital and has shipping industry backers.[1] On 20 August 2005, the aircraft was grounded for one day, by the Greek aviation authorities, for technical problems. Comments from customers about the safety of the aircraft, as well as the quality of service are negative. [citation needed]

Alexandair operates charter services from Heraklion, Chania, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Rhodes and Kos.[1]
