Alexander Sakharoff

Sakharoff, Alexander (orig. Alexander Zuckermann;b Mariupol, 26 May 1886, d Siena, 25 Sept. 1963). Russian dancer and teacher. He studied in Munich and made his debut there in 1910. In 1911 he married Clothilde von Derp and with her developed a highly idiosyncratic style of mime and dance which subsequently had some influence on Massine.
