Abraham (Alexander) Zalmanov (Salmanoff), (1875 - 1965) He was born in Gomel, Russian Empire (now in Belarus), to a Jewish family. He invented [1] a method of capillaries restoration with special Turpentine bath tonic which includes organic turpentine. Zalmanov's method of tretment based on the research made by A.Krogh[2], who received the Nobel Prize in 1920 for Physiology or Medicine for discovery of the motor-regulating mechanism of capillaries and the major role of the capillary system in the development and treatment of diseases. He claims yellow and white bath tonic or emulsion can be used for treatment of different acute and chronic diseases, such as:

  • diseases of nervous system
  • polyneuritis
  • multiple sclerosis
  • leucaemia
  • presenility
  • chronic prostatitis
  • immunopathological diseases
  • allergies
  • chronic bronchitis
  • chronic pneumonia
  • weight Loss and Rejuvenation[3]
  • sexual disfunction [4]


His method was approved in France by Ministry of Health in 1952.
