Alexander Zickler (Born February 28, 1974 in Bad Salzungen, Germany) is a German footballer who currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg of Austria. Previously, he spent twelve years with the German giant Bayern Munich, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2001. He is a striker, who is not always a prolific goalscorer, but has a lot of pace. His recent career has been plagued by injury problems.
Between 1998 and 2002 he earned 12 caps and scored 2 goals for the Germany national football team.
