Plot

ALF catches his first earth cold, and it looks as though he'll never get any better. In their efforts to cure ALF, Willie (Max Wright) and Kate (Anne Scheeden) resort to an ancient Melmaccian remedy, involving a shrub named "Karl" (a cute, if somewhat obscure, inside reference to the "Karl Shub" character played by ALF costar Max Wright on the earlier series Buffalo Bill).
