Alfonso Smith (born January 23, 1987) is an American football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He was signed by the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Kentucky.

After going undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft, Smith signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent on April 24, 2010. On November 21, 2010, Smith made his NFL debut against the Kansas City Chiefs.[1] He was cut three days later.
On January 4, 2011, Smith was signed to a future contract by the Cardinals.
