Plot

Mountaineer Clint Ringle (Jack Mullaney) harbors an obsessive love for schoolmarm Ella Marsh (Patricia Hitchcock) , but she is engaged to another man. In an insane fit of jealous rage, Clint murders his "rival," then eludes the authorities by hiding in the belfry of the schoolhouse where Ella works.
