Biography
Though Alfred Roome wore many hats during his behind-the-scenes career, he was perhaps most highly regarded as the editor of such features as The Lady Vanishes (1938). He also edited many of the Carry On comedies that so tickled British filmgoers during the late '50s through the '60s. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
