If there is one thing that Mel (Vic Tayback) treasures more than his beloved old car, it is the silver trophy cup that he won in the Navy. Well, he's already lost the car to Flo's carelessness, and now it looks like the silver cup is also going bye-bye. This time, Alice (Linda Lavin) is to blame: she had no idea of the caliber of disaster she precipitated by innocently donating the trophy to a charity rummage sale.
