Review
Often cold, ethereal, sometimes sharply unnerving, Maz Mitrenke and Brett Valiant utilise a battery of synths and samplers to engage the listener from the biorhythm level upwards. Much of the piece consists of deep, swirling drones with periodic oscillations, but the second half introduces more startling elements -- angular noise bursts and sweeps, abrupt sounds that jar the listener back from hypnosis.
