The Alipore Jail or Alipore Central Jail (Bengali: আলিপুর কেন্দ্রীয় সংশোধনাগার) is a prison in Alipore, Kolkata, where political prisoners were kept under British rule, among them Subhash Chandra Bose. It is still in operation.[1][2] It also houses the Alipore Jail Press.
