Lat: from another source; from elsewhere; from outside. aliunde rule refers to the doctrine that a verdict may not be impeached by evidence in the possession of a juror unless the foundation for introduction of the evidence is made first by competent evidence from another source. See 141 Ohio St. 423. evidence aliunde refers to evidence from an outside source.
