Biography

Not a group but a concept. Guitarist Kenny Burrell recorded a followup to his successful 1956 album All Night Long the next year. All Day Long retained trumpeter Doug Byrd, bassist Doug Watkins and drummer Art Taylor from the previous session, with newcomers Frank Foster on tenor sax and flute, and pianist Tommy Flanagan. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
