The acoustic side of the band comes to the fore on this, their second album. Recorded live at the Ten Pound Fiddle in East Lansing, MI, this one gives a strong idea of just how eclectic the outlook of this band truly is. Humor plays a large part in Mystic Shake's repertoire and tunes like "Y2K," "Vanilla," "Creepy Pockets,"and "Unknown Celebrity" shine bright with the group's quirky outlook. Here's a band that has a lot of fun playing together, has chops in a multitude of styles, and knows how to fashion a good song out of all of it. ~ Cub Koda, Rovi
